Hello all,

It breaks my heart to tell you that our beloved Bluelobster (Pierre) passed away Sunday night. He apparently died in his sleep, and I am told he was not in pain, which gives me great comfort.

Those of you who knew him will remember his passion for Robben and all things regarding the blues, and his humor, wit, and wisdom will be missed by many of us.

Hug your loved ones. We never know when it will be our last opportunity to do so.

Love,
elizabeth

Elizabeth,
Thanks for letting us know. I wondered where he had been. His posts were always so much fun.

Nice to hear from Elizabeth, however, what sad news indeed.
Blobby was irreverent, fiesty, and often absurd. And I loved it.
He knew his blues and music.

What a bummer.
RIP Blobby!

I am very saddened to learn of this. RIP Blobby! Time to retire that decoder ring... :-)

Bluelobster was loved and he will be missed. He was a true online friend to me, especially when I first started playing guitar. He had a great sense of humor and he was full of encouragement, even when he was feeling bad himself.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing this sad news.

So sorry to hear that. I never met him even though we were certainly not living that far apart, but it always was a pleasure reading his messages.
RIP Pierre.

Well, Johnny, why not but I don't even know Blue's real name to begin with...

Very sad life had to end so early for Blobby. The only funny guy on the forum is gone...

Elizabeth,

great to hear from you, albeit to bear this sad news.

My condolences to Pierre's family and friends.

I for one who will not forget his eccentic flare, wit (sometimes genius, sometimes bizarre), and his unique charisma he shared with us all. He must have graced the lives of those he knew in the same manner he had this board. He was also a competent musician/guitarist, particuarly akin to the vibe of Hendrix's music.

I wonder what his words would have been on this subject, and his last to this board? I am sure it would have been poignant raising a smile or two Smile. I am also sure he must have enjoyed his time here and life in general, he seemed that sort of guy.

R.I.P. Bluelobster
