Hello all-
Not sure who'll read this, or care, but just signed up today.
Landed here more that a few times as results to Google inquires pointed me here, so logical next step was to join and go to the source!
I've been playing music and singing for most of my 48 yrs in one form or another. Had some great times being in several bands over the years, last and the most (moderately) successful one was in the mid 90s, then walked away from it for a number of years after starting a family.
In recent years I've rediscovered my passion for all things music: gear, players, bands, legends, lessons, you name it.
Along the way I aquired a 90s Red Knob Fender "The Twin", which was my introduction to this site. Always exciting to learn one of the greats appreciates something in common.
I'd add Robben to a list greats including Gary Moore, Roy Buchanan, Mike Bloomfield etc. that I'd under appreciated, or overlooked. Part of my obsession with music is learning anything/everything about the greats, who did it first, best or different, and I enjoy the pursuit of that knowledge as much as playing, and learning to play better.
So looking forwrd to what I can learn here, and maybe even contribute a nugget or two along the way.
Regards
