Ive seen RF several times in different variations of bands. From trio to a large band for Tigerwalk. Really enjoy his playing , especially live. I get the vibe that Robben when playing with other musicians he is a team player and likes to let other musicians light shine...which is cool..and makes for a great vibe.

The trio format I saw recently was awesome. First off I love the new disc...and hugely as a trio Robben HAS to be the spotlight and carry the torch on stage...and has 2 incredibly capable musicians that blend really well with him. The trio puts him right out front and he excels there. He really shined in Portland Maine House Of Music.

It was the best RF show Ive been to in any RF format because of it IMO...even better than the Blue Line and other formats which was awesome.

What new disc are you referring to? Something after Into the Sun?

Yes. Not so new now but great disc.

Really love the whole album. Breathe Of Me with JJ Ward in particular is stunning. So well done.
