Hello, lovely people!

I'm writing to inform fans of Robben that a scumbag is offering one of his live performances for auction on eBay. You can put this scumbag out of business, and protect Robben's right to earn a living, by reporting the auction of unauthorized or restricted materials to eBay.

The url of the item is:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=307&item=2588508023

This scumbag was also offering a bootleg of one of Dave Wilcox's performances, but members of the Dave Wilcox fan club got it pulled today by reporting it to eBay.

Now, if eBay gets enough complaints on this seller, he'll be out of business completely -- at least, I hope so!

Love,

Claudia

Thanx for the heads up, Claudia. I've passed this along to Dal. It's bootlegs like these that lead to discouraging artists from allowing photos and recordings of their shows.

Always amazes me how people support this by going ahead and bidding & buying them anyway, then they turn right around and complain because the artists frown on the practice.

I noted that there were bootlegs of Robben's Keep On Running on E-bay 10 days before it's actual release... and 'fans' were supporting stealing Robben's sales away by bidding on them instead of waiting barely more than a week to buy the real thing! Simply astounding!

And for you fans who DO see and understand the criminal in this, Claudia is right, you SHOULD do your part to discourage & report it.

It's a little bit of a rabbit trail, but you have to go to "selling policies", "restricted items", and then "bootleg recordings" to complain (which I did). Hopefully non of our members are bidding.
