|

Hi,
Just want to have infos on the Robben's Wah pedal, if I remember well I know that he uses a Cry Baby 535Q (how does he set it).
I also knwo that he has changed it recently, did he use a Cry Baby standard before the 535Q ?

OK, petit coquin !
Tu te rappelles si c'est bien la 535Q que Robben utilises ? Sur la photo de son matos ça y ressemble mais il y a aussi la BB535 qui ressemble ! _________________ Play it like you feel it ! |

Quote: | Robben's guitar plugs, thru a 15' Planetwave cable, first into a Dunlop Cry Baby. He has been using a 535Q model for several years. Recently, on a visit to the factory, the engineer at Dunlop gave me 2 specially modified pedals for Robben to try out. The back plate says Model GCB-95, but because of the nature of the mods, I don't really know how accurate that designation would be. Robben is liking them both, but is particularly fond of one, as we try them out |
From Daved's site. |

I have to buy a 535Q, it will be a nice present for my new Gibson guitar !

Hi Frunk,
I was yesterday at the concert in BONN and saw that Robben uses the CRY BABY 535Q along with his volumepedal and 5 other pedals.
Robben played awesome but more inprovising then the other concerts I saw. After the concert I had the opportunity to speek with the master himself and he knew me ! He sais that he was glad to see me back and asked me what the sound was in front of the stage.
I asked him to get a picture with him. It was OK he said and I could use a flesh-light if I want to. So I took a picture, waaaaaw.........!
When those pictures are ready I will send them on the board.
Ciao...........

I was playing with one of these in a store once and turned the chrome knob all the way to the right and the pot with clicks on the bottom all the way to the right and the other trim pot about halfway. That gave the "Cut me to the Bone" type of sound. You might try this as a starting place. _________________ There are no such things as wrong notes, there's only the look on your face.

Hey Filmore, what's a "flesh-light?" It sounds like something that would have been used on the set where they filmed the movie for which "Schizophonic" was the soundtrack, i.e., "Stella and Frenchie"... |
