Made up for Robben's being out of state on tour by going down to the Wiltern Theatre in L.A. last night to hear B.B. King. A fantastic concert.
I have no idea how anyone at any age or condition, let alone at B.B.'s and with diabetes to boot, can put on such fabulous shows night after night, on the road for 10 or 11 months out of the year. But he and his great band do it.
He's in Bakersfield tonight, Yuma tomorrow night, Anaheim Saturday night, and then off to other states. (Details at www.bbking.com ) _________________ - BlueRunner |

hi Blue runner, i think , in my humble opinion, a lot of people think about Blues like being Music of the pain, but it"s not true, it 's a music of joy,and it heals too, like rock'n roll, it's like an holy medecine, either you play it or feel it , it sure cures you. |

After so many big Names of the blues left us, I'm very glad their Chairman is still among us!!

I saw Jeff Beck and BB from 5th row, center, last August...MAGICAL! A warm Concord night under the stars orchestrated by some of my favorites. Sweet! (If Robben had been there, I am sure I would have died from sheer pleasure.) The genuine class exudes from Mr. King, and it is evident that he adores his music. He is the consumate showman. (By the way, Jeff Beck was fantastic, too.)
