Has anyone heard of this fusion band? I heard them in the 80s and really liked what they did, but I've not seen hide nor hair of them since. Anyone know anything about them, whether they're still going, disbanded, or what?

Graeme,

Many thanks! It's the Vinnie Colaiuda band that I heard, although at the time I'd never heard of him. What a small world this is!

The next step is to try and get hold their music, hopefully on CD.

I have the 'Way out West' (I think) CD...with TOP'er Dave Garibaldi on drums. Rhythmically complex, and thought provoking fusion.
I'm gonna have to go back and give this CD a listen.
