Has anyone transcribed this song entirely? Or does anyone know for deffinate if the intro is in a different time signature? Im playing this for my degree/exam in a couple of weeks and trying to transcribe this out!
Many thanks Matt

Haven't written out a transcription, but I memorized it from playing along with it; so it stuck with me. This was one of Robben's tunes that I occasionally practice until I achieve near perfect synchronization - so a blindfolded listener couldn't tell that two guitars were playing when I'm playing along with Robben's recording. It gives me a better feel for what Robben is really doing with his phrasing and dynamics right down to picking nuances and microtones. Hopefully, some good technique sinks in and stays with me. But I'm not kidding myself - Robben improvised it; whereas I had to dissect it and rote learn it ad nauseum. Still, it makes you feel pretty good when you nail it.

Do you need a note-for-note transcription of all the guitar parts? That would be quite a chore to write out. Anyway, to answer your question, I don't believe the time signature changes.

Thanks for that. Yeah I caontinued on with the transcription and found that its all in 4/4 its just the accent is on the second quaver of every bar. I only really need a drum, bass and keys backing track, so Im still labouring on with it on Cubase. Thanks for replying!
