I was at the one in May. Great experience. Be there early so you can sit up close. His hands are amazing to watch. _________________ Ham Fisted Bloozer
Bring your fave guitar but no amp. I had a pocket rockit with an earphone so I could hear myself a little better. Bring some kind of audio, not video, recorder. There will be things said that you'll want to go back to after. Bring as many questions as you wish, Robben will answer them all. A lot of his instructional materials are available there, so you might want to bring some extra cash. Be there early so you can get a seat in the front row. His hands are amazing to watch. Expect to spend a most enjoyable day that you'll get a ton of information from. I couldn't imagine beforehand how you could possibly get much out of something like this, and I can't imagine afterward how I'm ever going to have time to apply everything I learned. Consider buying "Zen Guitar" by Sudo (Amazon.com) and reading it before you go. You'll understand a lot more about Robben's phylosophy toward playing, and how he's able to get so stretched out in his phrasing. (A lot of that still has to do with his knowledge of scales and fretboard) Expect to have a day you'll never forget with Robben, and enjoy walking around Ojai a little if you have the time. _________________ Ham Fisted Bloozer
