Any Ben Harper fans on the list? I watched a freebie show of his on Direct TV this month and really enjoyed it. Cool mix of music, and a very funky bass player.

Cool Knew absolutely nothing about Ben Harper except that he was someone each of my daughters talked about seeing in concert, UNTIL I bought a copy of the "Standing in the Shadows of Motown" DVD. So THAT's what they'd been talking about!

What an absolute gem that DVD is! I defy any one who lived through the 60s to watch that film and not get one huge lump in their throat. And Joan Osborne ... her skin's the wrong colour. She is amazing. If you haven't seen this film I would highly recommend you do - 1 hour and 40 minutes of very precious musical history.
