I'd like to learn more about the songs Robben wrote early in his career (as a teenager/young adult). I see the first Charles Ford Band LP includes two originals -- Gibson Creek Shuffle and Rest My Mind on Jesus. They were published by Tradition Music Co., the publishing wing of Arhoolie. Does anyone know of other song titles written by Robben in the late 60s/early 70s?
I bet some of Robben's early LPs include songs that were written long before they were actually recorded. Does anyone know when songs such as Sunrise, Miss Miss, You Drive a Hard Bargain, or any of the orginal songs on Inside Story were written? Does anyone know the first song Robben wrote, and if it was ever recorded?
