Robben's show in Bend Oregon Thursday night was excellent.
The venue was outdoors, with reserved seating in front of the stage and general admission on the grass. Lots of room for dancing on the sides.
Sound was great once the microphones were turned up for the sax and vocals.
The set was nearly the same as reported for Grants Pass, with a couple additions - Cannonball Shuffle and Start It Up. Standing ovations at the end, and two encores! Robben and the band were having a great time, and Robben enjoyed the drum/bass solos during Help the Poor as much as the audience did. Bonnie sounded great - first time I've heard it live. Request - would love to hear Give Me Something for the Pain from Blue Moon added to the set list.
Fashion report for Elizabeth - red shirt, unbuttoned at the top and bottom (it was a hot night), black slacks, black shoes. Hope you have a great time at the Russian River show! Did anyone go to Fresno Saturday night?
