They are showing this great program again in July and August on PBS networks all over the country. I am attaching a link you can go to and see the schedule in YOUR area. (The page I am sending you is for Texas, but you can choose other states.) I hope this works.
The programs is called the Sierra Center Stage Series, and I have seen two of the four (Ford and Tommy Emmanuel...also fabulous.) If your local PBS is not airing it, encourage them to do so.
(Jeeeeez, I sure hope this will make up for all the ruffled feathers I caused the other day...I'm sorrrrrrrrrrrrry!)

Thanks, Elizabeth! Unfortunately, it appears that if I want to see the show, I'll have to drive out to Riverside. No listing for our "local" (LA) PBS station, KCET. Kudos the Sierra Nevada, though. I love their Pale Ale. Maybe if I drink six or seven of them, and then tune into KCET, I'll be able to make believe that their perpetual fund-raiser Yanni concert is actually the Ford Brothers.
And as for the "Choose Another State" bar at the bottom of the linked page: I sure wish it was that easy. _________________ - BlueRunner |

I will tape it again. Several people have volunteered to put it on a CD or a DVD, or whatever it is...we could have a movie party. I offer my house for viewing...

Ask them if they will be showing Sierra Center Stage on their station and encourage them to do so. It really does make a difference to the public broadcasting stations when they hear from you. KVCR didn't decide to carry it until recently. I know I wrote to them and I know others who did as well. I think that's what made them decide to carry it. I will write to KCET also; since I'm also in their broadcast region. |

Hey Elizabeth,
Thanks for the heads up;and you happen to give the link to Texas where i'm at. Looks like i'll have to also e-mail my local PBS station (KLRU) and request that they air it.
Happy viewing,
Johnny |

Elizabeth - many thanks, we will actually get this here in Central Texas. And this almost makes up for the 30 year old episodes of the "Lawrence Welk Show" they usually show.
Roy Rogers on July 19 should be hot, too.
(ps - keep ruffling) |
