Was wondering if anyone had the latest on a live show in Houston this weekend? Remember a thread awhile back that mentioned Robben was going to be at place called 'Houston City Live' on May 8. In my searching it seems that this was going to be a new club but it never opened. An article i ran across said that the shows scheduled there were either cancelled or moved to ' The Sands" Anything definitive?
Thanks'

For whatever reasons (It's not my end of the pond to deal with bookings, scheduling, & such) the second attempt at midwest and deep south shows has been cancelled... except for the Guitar Workshop in Austin on July 6th.
At this time formal touring will pick back up, on the East coast, at the beginning of June. _________________ B C-ing U!

Well thanks to you guys for helping clear that up.Guess i'll have to resort to plan B for this weekend. And maybe the third time will be the charm for our part of the country.

Hey, Bluejack, are you familiar with the Zak Perry Band? A friend of mine, Steve Ondrechen, plays guitar in that band there in Austin. He's a great guy - we call him Shoestring or Strang.... If you get the chance, tell him the Sneaker King boys miss him!!!!
Thanks, Mike. |

Mike,
Yeah, i have seen them advertised here and there but haven't heard them yet.In fact quite awhile back i'd talked to Zak about auditioning for the band but we never got a chance to meet. i'll keep it on my radar and if and when i see them i'll be sure to tell Steve HI for you.
