Jeeeeeze, my wife and I have been long time fans of Robben and have seen him only a few times in the Michigan area. There are a lot of good places to play that would support an artist of his caliber in the S.E. Michigan/Ann Arbor/Greater Detroit area. Why does Europe get all the great stuff? Robben's fan base here is strong. Come to Michigan! We're suffering from a lack of real soulful playing here! He would fill anyplace he plays at.

just to name a few.
Or we could all chip in and have a RF Block Party.

Hey Bluesy,

Why does Europe get all the great stuff?
You don't have to think hard now : becaus it's Europe !
Wy play these performers here all the time, the whole year trough ?
Becaus every city or place they play is a saturisation of people who really like to hear music and come for the individual performer himself !
Here in Belgium those artist are GOD !!!!!!

Like you notice : I have never been in the USA, but it is my one and only ambition once travell to the USA. I had a few times the opportunity but work didn't make it happen. So I would like to see how party's and concerts in The States happen.

I will see Robben 3 times this year ans it cost me about 75 euros + my wife is comming with me + hotel + fuel...ec.....
The distances are not so difficult. I saw Robben at Koblenz (280 km from Brussels), today I will see him in BONN (210 km from Brussels) and on 11/15/03 I will see him in Belgium (Verviers) it's 120 km from Brussels.

All I'm aware of, so far, are shows in Detroit (supporting Steve Miller), possibly one in Sausalito with Bob Weir, shows in Norway, and some Ford Bothers shows in northern Cal (during which, I will briefly go help out Little Feat).

Based on Daved's comment, I checked Steve Miller's web site and saw that Steve is playing at the Jerome Duncan Theater in Sterling Heights on September 2nd. When Daved said Robben is playing in support of Steve, is Robben opening for Steve Miller or the other way around?
