Does anyone know if Robben has ever played 'Don't let me be misunderstood' in trio band?
If so, where can I find it? Very Happy

It's on the "hand full of blues"- album, is that what you were looking for?

Hi thesrvman,

Thank you very much for your reply Very Happy
I know "hand full of blues" album.
What I'm looking for is the song played in trio band.
I mean I would like to hear the live version without Keyboard.
I have listened to some live versions of the song with keyboard.
But I'm wondering if the song has been ever played without keyboard.
Does anyone know?
Thanx.

The trio thing is a fairly recent development. Since Handfull of Blues, I think most Robben gigs have had a keyboard player. I'm sure Dewayne and Hil could do the song, but I don't think I've ever heard him play it with either of them.

The song will work as a trio. The guitar comps fill in most of the song. I've managed this with my own marginal playing many times in a trio with a bass player who's played with Robben. Even have a clip of us dragging a drummer who hadn't heard it before through the thing.
