Hey Scott,
I can’t remember where i saw or heard you talk about a technique to eliminate phase for two mics by inverting phase on one of them.
I can’t remember exactly. Could you explain that real quick? Thx man hope all is well. And can’t wait for the new album!
Eric
I think it was reversing phase on one of the mics have an amp set loud with some hiss and then placing it till the hiss disappears and means both mics are aligned then just putting the phase back to normal on the mic and good to go. Is this correct ? Thx again
I believe that's the way to do it, but to be honest I never tried it myself - I'm a one mic guy. That trick was told to me by TJ Helmerich, the great guitarist and engineer who did a lot of the Tribal Tech albums.

I too have been a one mic guy (read: one 57) ever since I heard that's how Mike Landau records guitars.
Good enough for Mike - good enough for us mortals!
