hi scott,
i have a question: after having had quite a large number of different amps and fx-units, iīm still wondering, whatīs the point, why do some systems sound very direct and some wonīt...
now, could it be possible, that itīs the most important thing to have just analog pedals before the preamp? is this the reason, that many of the soundcracks still play tons of pedals, though itīs much more uncomfortable?
could it be that f.e. with the new t.c.g-system, the bad thing is the A/D and D/A converter before the preamp? i mean it would be really great to be able to go to this one unit and have everything done there...but i wonīt lose the impression that itīs not that quality anymore that i hear, when i listen to my friends pedalboard without midi etc., though he really passes a lot of pedals...
thanks and best regards
