hi, i'm per, i live in trondheim, norway, in my mid-thirties, been playing guitar as a hobby and a little bit of semipro since about 1980. with a background in rock and blues, but these days i'm leaning more towards jazz and fusion.

my favorite guitar player and musician in general is holdsworth. for guitar i also dig robben, scott h., joe pass, bireli lagrene, ulf wakenius, terje rypdal and many others.

these days i try to not listen to guitar players so much, so i'm into chet baker a lot, plus i enjoy listening to singers like sinatra, ella and even diana krall. nils petter molvær is great, and other great norwegians are jan garbarek, radka toneff (sadly she died all to early) and a few people you probably never heard of, such as ståle storløkken, stian carstensen, jarle vespestad and nils olav johansen (a MONSTER guitar player.)
