WOw, that's gonna be fun to compare it with how I transcribed it. I only finished it a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks for the info, man!
congratulations on getting a beautiful Suhr.
Why 2 post bridge, not 6 screw as Scott recommends?

Don't hold your breath... the GT transcription is chock full with mistakes (wrong chords, strange fingerings and such). But I guess it's better than nothing.

I liked the 2002 trem I had on the 1999 Fender strat body that I used to replace the body on my 1984 Strat Laughing

the 84 has a weird trem...

I got that magazine. Now, I'm going to learn it!

If you guys see a glaring mistake, could you post your solutions? I'd like to see the various fingering approaches.

I wonder if Scott will check out the Magazine's transcription, and post his corrections for us? That would be really cool. I love to see how other players "visualize" the same thing, in different ways. That's a really good insight into guitar playing, for me.

I'm sure Scott won't check it 'cos he said he's got enough teaching in MI. He's a busy man ya know.
If I have time I'll post my own transcription. It's 98% accurate I guess.
I'm gonna get the magazine soon and check the backing track and if it's crappy I'll make my own.

I haven't ever tried to make my own backing track. Maybe I can find time to try, this month.

Try it and after some practice you'll have fun making 'em. If you have time..
I use Nuendo 3 (Cubase SX is almost the same). You'll also need some
VSTi plug-ins or quality samples. For drums I use EZ Drummer - it's really good. Import the track into the program and simply recreate the parts! Minus guitar of course... There's a beat calculator and time stretch tool and everything else you need to make any kind of music.
