Hi Scott, thanks again for your answers! This is a great help for all guitarists and musicians!

Please, some more questions here:

1 - Do you use the 1073MP preamp always on 300 ohms and with the output knob all the way up for more headroom all the time, or do you play with different settings for different sounds?

2 - When using the BAE, Do you set +4 on your sound card, or -10?

3 - Can you show pics of your home studio setup please?

4 - Have you tried the BAE 312A? If so, do you like it?

Love your music man! looking forward to the trio CD!

Thanks again, and all he best!

I use it on 300 ohms because my only mic is a 57 and 300 ohms makes it sound fatter and warmer. I have the output knob up 100% all the time and use the notched knob to set the volume.

I use the Apogee 64 PCI card - it doesn't have a option for -10.

Sorry I haven't tried the 312A.

You wouldn't learn anything from a picture of my studio, except that my house is a mess.

Scott just got a BAE 1073mp last night. I recorded a couple tracks using clean and distorted tones and as you said they sound fat and warm.
