Hey Scott,
Just want to say thank you for the inspiration, for sharing your unique flavor, and for the music. I've mentioned before that I teach middle school, and nothing gives me a better vibe than one of my kids (current or former) telling me that I inspired them to think or to pursue biology. I've been inspired by your music and your approach to music beginning with when I saw you with JLP at the Beacon (I had no idea who you were at the time).
So, thank you Scott. I sure wish I had gone up and spoken with you when you played here in Atl at the Red Light Cafe, but...to shy...oh well. I'm way better with twelve-year olds.
Happy Holidays from myself, my wife (who DOES dig your music), and Shanny...who also digs your stuff. She will wag her tail for your stuff, Rosenwinkel, and for some reason McCoy Tyner. I don't ask...

I say that dog Shanny has more musical sense in her tail than many people in their boob .. I mean brains.

As for me, I'd also like to say thank you for the music and answers. Thanks to you, I no longer worry about buying more instruction books - if I want to learn something, I better listen and work it out myself ...

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. It's been a pleasure to have this message board and try to help people avoid the many mistakes I've made. I consider it payback for all the help I've received from truly unselfish musicians throughout my career.

The real guy to thank is David Henderson (no relation) for running these boards for no profit. He's one of the few people out there who would take on a project like this and keep it going year after year. Thanks David!
