I often say to my students who want to play Jazz is:
"I don't know many things about Jazz, but I can say that learning many different shapes* of chords for a song is one of the way to learn how to play, sound and solo over a Jazz tune".
And it´s the same in a Blues progression Very Happy !
Since I heard you the first time, I've always tried to find "new" chords's shapes*.

*I'm not sure of this word Laughing !!!

Have a nice day!
