This is the first album in about fifteen years that I listened to from A to Z in one go. Just wanted to say that.
Thank you.

Agreed that it's a very complete album, and very fun to listen to from start to finish. Side note...Festival of Ghosts is one of the coolest tunes I've ever heard. |

My personal favourite is Calhoun. The thing is, I've been listening to music my whole life, and sort of started to lose interest in 'listening to records' for about 15 years ago. You know the kind of listening where you go to the recordstore, buy an LP, go home, put on your cans and listen through the whole thing. That has to do with my profession as a soundengineer (and drumming my whole life) mainly. It's sort of a "The baker doesn't get up early on his day off to buy bread" kinda thing.
I just had to solder some stuff in my homestudio one day, tedious work, so I put on spotify, and came across this record. It just grabbed me, from A to Z.
Just because of the plain musicality of the recording.
So, still a lot of soldering to do.
Grtz from the Netherlands to you all! |
