Hi Scott,
When you added the fx loop to your Marshall and Bandmaster, did it change the tone of the amp? Was it a certain type of loop that you added?

The Bandmaster doesn't have a loop, but the Bella and '71 Marshall do - it's the same loop John Suhr puts in the OD-100 and hand-wired amps like the SH-100. I don't know the technical specs on it - that would be a question for John. The loop is bypassed if nothing's plugged into it, so the tone of the amp isn't changed. When the loop is being used, the tone could be changed depending on what you put in there. On stage, I have an SVC volume control (25k pot) and about 25 feet of cable in the loop, so that takes a little bit of high end away, which I like.
