For me it's Tore Down House, maybe because that's the record that got me hooked ... from the moment that I listened to the first few licks in Dolemite I knew that there was something different about this guy. Been a fan ever since.
I must admit that Dog Party is a cool one but really doesn't do much for me ... Well To The Bone on the other hand is one killer piece of work. |

The main new influence I can hear on "Well To The Bone" is Jeff Beck.
I think that factor made Scott's playing a little different on this album compared to the previous two. _________________ I do my own thing, but Scott does it better! |

Tore Down House,
Dolomite is one of the most driving instrumentals I've ever heard. In the same catagory with Peterson's Drop Shot but with a killer guitar solo. Incredibly tasteful blending of blues and outside licks.
I Hate You cracks me up and is an abject lesson on how to comp over 1-6-2-5 ballads.
Great songs all around and great playing |

Tore Down House for me....because....it's the only one of his blues CDs I own...
I have heard some clips from WTTB and it sounded killer though.
I have almost all the TT CDs btw....and I really couldn't tell you a favorite. It just depends on my mood. _________________ Russ

I pick Well To The Bone, as he's taken his music to another level on it (IMO). Plus, i really like the use of effects, and overdubbing.
