My two cents. I'm a big fun of the Italian amps. I have a 5 watt plexi style amp with london power scaling technology built by an italian company called "The Valve" model Bimbo. I'm ok with it, for me it has a very good dynamic range and an harmonically rich sound.
For a Fender sound I saw a good review of an amp called Brunetti Singleman, but I haven't the opportunity to try one.
Mezzabarba amps by Masotti are among the best italian guitar amps for rock and blues.
For plexy style amp there are also the new Friedman amps like the 20 watt Friedman Runt
