Hey Scott,

On which record did you switch from 9's to 10's?

Also, have you ever gotten into high output stacks for your Strats? Like Duncan Hot Stacks or something similar.

All the Tribal Tech albums up to Thick are 9's. Thick and Rocket Science are 10's. The solo albums are all 11's tuned to Eb, except for Vibe Station which is 10's.

I've never tried those pickups because I don't like high output pickups - I think they mask the sound of the wood and are terrible pickups for blues or jazz. Most guitarists who are really into tone use low output pickups and let the amp do the work.
