Every guitar player in the world, no matter what music they play, should be honoring the life and career of the true King of Rock 'n' Roll today, Chuck Berry. I'll bet you at least 90% of all guitar players at some point played a Chuck Berry tune in their lifetime. Thank God Muddy Waters introduced him to Chess and thus here we are. RIP Chuck Berry, the true originator.

Sorry to hear this - we wouldn't be doing what we're doing if it wasn't for him.
He was a true legend.

Hi Scott,

One of my relatives showed me this video of Ted Nugent who "pays homage" to Chuck Berry.
https://www.facebook.com/tednugent/videos/10154532595247297/
I posted it on the guitarwank FB page as "How Chuck died twice"

The reason why I write about this on your forum is that I have a favour to ask from you.

Today I was in may car listening to "Calhoun", and then it came to my mind that when you'll die, I may see a video of Uncle Ted covering "Calhoun" (which to me is one of the finest piece of guitar ever). It's sad that he did this to "Johnny B Good", but with "Calhoun", I would call it a crime against humanity.

So, PLEASE DIE AFTER UNCLE TED !!

Seriously, for one minute I tried to imagine Ted who plays that song, and I had a good laugh.

The great Chuck! But what if he hadn't got the call from his nephew when Marty Mcfly played that '55 high school prom? Laughing
