Gonna watch it tonight. It's available on Netflix. Seems to be fun.

Yes it looks like they're catching the happy side of the hired guns, not the part where they talk shit behind the bandleader's back. ha ha

There's a famous story about a bass player who was working with a huge pop star, and had just told him what an honor it was to be playing on the wonderful song he wrote. The pop star went into the control room and the bass player said to the drummer "this tune is a piece of shit". Pretty stupid to say that with live microphones everywhere - of course he was immediately fired.

I watched this. It was pretty good. The stuff with Billy Joel got a bit dark. It's interesting how many pop stars wind up hiring shredders as their guitarists. I also had no idea that Toto played most of the music on Thriller.

Man, if that was the 'happy side', hahaha! I'm wondering what kind of hell these people must live.

Here in Brazil, a stupid bass player has a wife that cooks very well. So, he went to a rehearsal for a huge female singer and brought some food, candies etc. All delicious. In the end, he pulled a bill, saying that it cost, let's say, $200. No one asked him to bring food or anything, everyone was kind of in shock. The bill was presented to the singer, and she replied: pay him $1000, and find me another bassist. Stupid fucker.

About Toto. Yes, they did! And much more. Steve Lukather and Toto's members have plenty of videos talking about the recording sessions. Fun as hell, to watch:

I watched it.
I thought it had its good points and bad points.

But the funniest thing is when it is revealed that Jay Graydon has an ocd thing where he has to take off all of his cloths when he takes a shit.
