Scott, you mentioned you use the ML Standard pickups all three the same. On the Suhr website they list 6.5k for Neck and Middle and 6.9K for bridge.
Are you using a Neck or Middle pickup in the bridge?

I use three neck pickups, because I have the SSC noiseless system in my guitar. If i didn't, I'd use a neck/middle/neck, so the 2 & 4 position would be humbucking. Either way, all three pickups are the same in power. I hate hot bridge pickups!
