Hi Scott, hope ure well. Its ur student here Alex in Indonesia...had so much fun hangin out with u guys while u were here, i learned so much thx. So much so that that week during my gig some people heard me from outside the gig hall and said they thought they heard a horn player soloing but cant figure out why it was so friggin loud lol.

Anyways, i noticed that your neck pickup height was so flushed down and im sure that it is a big part of how the ur tone is (i cant really sound the same with other guitars like Tylers or even Suhr Modern to sound like what u do)

I know u posted your pickup heights before but i believe that was on your other guitars right? Can you explain how your pickup heights are on your current Suhr?

Hi Alex,

Good to hear from you! My pickup heights haven't changed - same as described in 2.22. If you saw the neck pickup lower than you thought it should be, it's probably because sometimes it sinks down a little when the guitar is being thrashed about on the road. It happens mostly on the neck pickup because the springs have less tension than on the other two pickups. I usually check that about once a week and tighten the pickup screws to bring the pickup back up to the correct height.
