Hey Scott,
Did you try the new Suhr Rufus fuzz?
If yes, how does it compare to your favorite fuzz pedals you've mentioned here before?
Many thanks,
W. |

Sorry I haven't heard that one. I'll borrow one to check out next time I go to Suhr. |

Hey Scott,
Did you have the chance to try the Rufus yet?
Curious what you think of it.
Thanks!

I'm sorry, I was just at Suhr picking up a new guitar and I was so busy with that, I forgot to grab that fuzz to try it out. |

Anything special/different about this new guitar?
All the best!

Nothing different about the specs but it's lighter than my other guitars, so it has a different tone - more mids, less treble. It should be a great guitar for playing live.
The guys at Suhr are bringing a fuzz to my Baked Potato gig tomorrow night, so I'll check it out when I get back from this short US tour. |

Hi Scott,
Does it have a roasted body?
Thanks!

It has a roasted neck, but not body. I tried the Rufus fuzz - it sounds nice but it's too bright for me. I use the Analog Man SunFace. (germanium version) _________________ www.online-discussion.com |

How do you like the roasted neck comparing to regular maple? |

It's awesome - it's difficult to make a comparison though, because every body sounds different anyway. All I can say is that the three guitars I have with roasted necks sound amazing. |
