Hi Scott!
I think I remember reading that you liked the Diezel Amp you played through once.
What do you think of the Pevey 6505?
Although lots of people produce hollow metal-sounds with it, I think it sounds quite fat for soloing.

I played though a Diezel a long time ago and remember liking it, but I also remember that I wasn't able to lift it off the floor. Sorry, I've never tried that Peavey amp. I used a Special 130 very early in my career, but I just used the preamp with a tube power amp which seemed to warm it up a bit.
