I'm glad they finally did this, but it doesn't help me much since most of the flying I do is out of the US. European airlines are usually pretty cool, but there are shit companies like Air France and KLM that have to be avoided. Asia - forget about it. It's very rare for them to allow a guitar on the plane, but they're always polite and they'll hand carry it to the dog & cat area and back to you at the gate.

I'm still going with the SKB case and checking it, and charging the cost to the promoters. If they want me to play, they'll have to pay my overweight charges.
