Hi Scott i want to ask some questions :
1. from so many other standards song , do u have particular reason to choose Chelsea Bridge to play in your Album?
2. do u pre written the theme section of chelsea bridge in your album, or do u just wing it?
3. What is the procedure to get your permission to post some of your video to youtube , why some video get your permission , and why some don't ? even some people , post your song from the album they don't get banned

I chose Chelsea Bridge because I thought the album needed a mellow tune with traditional jazz guitar tone, and it became one of my favorite ballads when I heard Buddy Rich's live version many years ago. I'm not a good enough jazz guitarist to wing it - I worked out the chord melody voicings, but I have a few different versions.
The best way to get permission for YouTube video is to email me the footage - I'll either say I like it or I don't. I pull videos off YouTube if the recording quality is terrible - iPhone recordings usually deliver distorted sound or missing bass. Another reason is a bad performance. I'm not perfect and don't always like what I play, and I believe that musicians have the right to decide which performances they want a worldwide audience to see. I'd have no reason to pull a posted song from an album - that music has already been approved. I'd only do that if the album was brand new, and I thought posting it for free would hurt sales. |

| No, video files are too big for email. Use a service like Hightail to upload the video and they'll email me the link to download it. If the sound is distorted or the bass can't be heard, please don't send it. If I like the video, you can post it, and with your permission I'll add it to my YouTube channel. |
