Another composition question.

When you're writing music or in some recording issue ,like the process of layering guitar parts, do you ask feedback from another people ? Like the guys in the band or people you trust their opinion ?

Yes, all the time. Some of my friends are great guitar players and I trust their opinions on tones, layering, etc. Bruce Foreman heard the solo section on Vibe Station and said he thought the comping came in too soon - that never crossed my mind but as soon as I did what he suggested, the section made a lot more sense. I'm grateful for opinions and advice, and lucky to have friends who are great musicians.
