Over the years I've seen you using various different Suhr's...

Black w/ Matching Head
White w/ Matching Head & Tortoise guard
Fiesta Red
Shell Pink (I think) w/ White guard
Sea Foam Green
Olympic White w/ Mint guard

I'm interested in what makes you change to a new guitar and whether or not any of these are any different in Specs?

Thanks in advance, love your playing!

I've only owned one sea foam green guitar, but I've had a few of the other colors you mentioned. My deal with Suhr is they usually make one new guitar for me a year. Over the many years I've been with them, guitars come and go - if I don't like one anymore I give it back. The only differences between the guitars is some have Mike Landau pickups, some have V60LP's, and one has a Thornbucker in the bridge position. Also, some have roasted necks, and those seem to be the best sounding ones.

All the guitars sound a bit different, because even if all the hardware is the same, every piece of wood has it's own thing. Some of my guitars have more bass, and I like recording with those. I have more than enough bass on stage, so I tend to use the really light guitars on stage - they have more mids.
