as in...the tune. i think Wayne's playing is especially awesome on this one.

just bored and wanted to see if you (or any other WP fans here) have any thoughts on it.

Yes, he plays great on it. I've been listening to the WP version of Three Views Of A Secret, and Wayne is killing on that one too. I heard a rumor that Jaco wasn't happy with the performance because Wayne took great liberties with the melody, but if you listen to the written melody on Word Of Mouth and then listen to what Wayne did with it - I think it's mind-blowing. He's a true genius.

Three Views of a Secret - probably Jaco's best composition.

I also prefer the WR version. Wayne's sax, and Joe's keys - man, it's got tender moments along with great drama - not bad for one tune.
