Hi Scott,

I've seen your FB post where you say you've been fooled by satirical website. Don't worry about that. On French TV, I've seen a politician making comments on something she had read. It was an information taken from a news website ("le Gorafi") which looks very much like a real one ("le Figaro"), but is full of wrong information.
http://www.lefigaro.fr/politique/2014/02/04/01002-20140204ARTFIG00255-quand-christine-boutin-cite-sans-sourciller-le-site-parodique-le-gorafi.php
Everybody felt sorry for her, quite an embarrassing moment. So, as a musician, I think it's okay (Also, you made a comment to say how dumb you felt after that, which she never did... politicians don't do that).

Kevin

Satire is great as long as you know that's what it is. Politicians say so many stupid things these days, it's hard to tell satire from the truth. If you click on the shared link and go to the actual source of the story, you can see it's a satire website, but if you just read the headline of the shared link, there's no way to tell. Now that I know about Politicops.com, if I see them as the source, I know it's bullshit.

In this case, no harm done. Marco Rubio has said enough stupid shit to last a century, so I'm not sorry for my comment.
