Hi Scott, just wondered if you've ever tried slaving your Marshall loaded down with the Suhr Reactive Load? For example plugging the line out of the SRL into the FX return of the Bella. I just tried a 50 watt plexi slaved this way and the results are quite promising.

Looking forward to your India gig!

I've never tried that - is the purpose to lower the volume for a softer gig? For my purposes I think a 100 watt MV amp is more versatile because I need the extra headroom to play clean, and I never have to turn down so much that I loose tone. On softer gigs I use my HRD.

It's really useful for low volume playing at home or on a soft gig, but it also lets you use FX after power amp drive, especially with amps that don't have an FX loop. Of course you could also do wet-dry like you do with your 100 watt and the HRD. I just wondered if you had tried it, since you have the Bella Smile

Btw for your India gigs, there's now a older style Marshall 4x12 with Celestion V-Types that's with a rental company called sound.com. 8 ohm cab and nicely broken in. Just thought I'd let you know.

That sounds like a cool idea - I'll have to try it. Thanks!

I have a cabinet in India with Greenbacks so I'm all set, but thanks for the info!
