Hi Scott,
From a musical perspective, did you enjoy playing with Dave Weckl and John Patitucci during your time with the Elektric Band? Have you played in any other settings with either of them since?
They're both great musicians, but in the context of the Elektric Band it wasn't like I had much interplay with them. I'm sure that's partly my fault - I was just trying to make it through the gig and keep Chick satisfied. As weird as it sounds, that was more about my volume and where I stood on stage than about music. I'm sure I'd have fun playing with John and Dave in a looser situation.
