Hey Scott -

One thing I've noticed in listening to some of your interviews....I've never heard you mention anything Clapton did with Mayall or Cream....which I thought was a little odd given your other influences....did you ever check that stuff out when you were coming up?

I did, but I was never a Clapton fan. I liked Cream as a band, but I was listening to Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck during that time. There's no doubt Clapton is a good player, but his playing just never had much impact on me like the guys I mentioned.
