Hey Scott, I heard you mention that Phil deGruy's coming to Los Angeles. I can't find any info online, do you know where and when he's playing?

It's not scheduled - he just told me he plans to come as soon as he can. I'm going to do my best to help him line up some gigs in town. I told him I'd love to see him play at Baked Potato - he'd get a much larger audience than he's had at other places in LA, but I think he's worried about the noise level because there's a bar and it's not the quietest environment. Maybe McCabe's? I'm sure he'll do a workshop at MI, and I might be able to get that opened up to the public.

I think McCabe's would be a good choice, I've seen a solo guitar performance there and it sounded great, I can't think of a better place. If you could open up a workshop at MI to the public that would be very cool as well.
