I couldn't view it dizzy, maybe because I'm in Europe.

This should work:

It’s funny and rhythmically hip at the same time.

As for Scott, th FB link didn't work. Maybe something to do with the fact that we're in Europe.

The youtube link worked fine, and I really loved the video. Though something was still wrong. For some reason, I couldn't hear the guitar! Very Happy

As once said by Scott, McLaughlin uses Konokol to approach rhythm. You can find his course online (DVD). I have it, it's interesting, but not my thing:

Thanks for those links. I can see how you could generate instresting rhythms using those syllables.
I’d like to hear the Indian version of George Benson—— Playing lines and scatting along with those syllables. Somehow I don’t think it would be as popular though:)

WoW, and not even a single drop of sweat... Shocked

Anybody knows whether there's some kind of 'song structure' going on or if it's a 4min head to tail composition? I couldn't tell, these rhythms go beyond my comprehension.

In the early 80's we had indian music workshops at highschool. Those musicians told us that if you wanted to study with a master, you first started sweeping his floors for considerable time. Only after that you'd get your music lessons. I guess the master first wanted proof of real dedication.
