Hey Scott

I love wall of sound because I can change mic placement in the plugin.
I just downloaded some IRs from Celestion and imported them into wall of sound and on these ones I can’t change mic placement.
Is that normal? Can you only change mic placement on wall of sound IRs?
Maybe I didn’t import all of the necessary data.

I just answered my own question by reading the manual:). It says you can’t use the mic placement feature with non wall of sound IRs.
Scott: how do you get your sound with non wall of sound IRs? I know you like to place the mic in the center of the cone.

I haven't used Wall Of Sound in a long time - MixIR is much better. I didn't think there would be a big sound difference in IR players but there definitely is. MixIR doesn't allow you to move microphones, but most IR's have different mic placements in their catalogues. In my opinion, the Celestion IR's sound better than anything I've heard from Two Notes.

Yes, the Celestion ones sound amazing. And I like how simple Celestion made it:
Just choose the speaker you want instead of scrolling through thousands of boutique cabs trying to find the particular speaker that you want.
