Hi Scott,

I hope your tour is going great and you guys have fun playing in europe! I will attend your masterclass in Sneek on the 13th of april. Since it will be my first time being at a masterclass of yours: Will there be an opportunity to play music with you or will it be more like a classroom situation (which would be great too)? Also, will you talk about your approach to composing music and bring that handout about writing music, that you talked about in that forum and on guitar wank? I'm very curious about that!
Anyway, thank you for your time and the music. I'm very much looking forward to the next weekend!

My workshops are question/ answer based because they're attended by players on many different levels. If they were based on my agenda, it could be too difficult for some and boring for others. Feel free to ask questions about composition - if others are interested too we can talk about it for awhile.

People don't usually come up and play unless the director of the workshop asks for it, but it's not for the purpose of jamming, it's about evaluating the student's playing. Some guys think it's embarrassing to be evaluated in front of a bunch of people, others don't mind. I was brought up being told I suck in front of everyone, so it wouldn't bother me at all. In fact I suck on stage nightly and it hasn't turned me into a drunk or a drug addict so I must be extremely thick-skinned.
