Hi Scott,
How do you deal with powering the old SE-70 overseas when you go to Europe, etc? AC is more tricky than DC I believe.
Do you get several versions of the power supply for different countries (110, 220), or have you figured out a special AC power supply that is switchable on the road?
Thanks!
I just bought two European power supplies for the SE-70. Before that I was using a 220 to 120 transformer provided by the venue. These transformers are bigger than a transformer in a hotel bathroom - our rider says "300 watts minimum - if it fits in your hand, that's not it. The SE-70 makes a weird distorted sound when it doesn't get enough power, so hopefully these new power supplies will work and I won't need to ask for transformers anymore.
