Hi,

Just wondering how the hell can one play like that without muting the upper strings with your right hand? Seems impossible without ringing open strings.

Hah! One hand recoving from surgery, the other in a sling...I suspect the lack of ringing open strings is due to there literally being no time between any 2 consecutive notes for a string to do anything of its own volition, let alone ring...
Seriously...low action, tons of gain, a very sophisticated touch, huge hands, prodigious technique...I bet there's quite a bit of subtle left hand muting going on there...a little studio wizardry is a possibility as well, n'est-ce pas?

Hi,

If it's only technique it's marvelous. When I leave a string it always rings a little bit if not muted properly. Maybe the ultralow action is the key. So low that it mutes the strings itself.

Nice. Even if you dont pay attention to what he does and just listen, you can tell he has moved on from the usual.
