My name is Frank Demos. Attended Atlanta Institute of Music and studied under Shane Theriot, who in 1992 was a guitar teacher of mine and turned me on to Scott Henderson and Tribal Tech. Shane himself studied under Scott at GIT. AIM is somewhat of a Scott Henderson GIT model school, and Nite Driscoll and Shane Theriot and all those involved with AIM are great.

I currently perform around Tallahassee, FL as a solo guitar act (with MIDI rhythm machine). I am also a graduate student and teaching assistant at Florida State University. I have a lot of playing experience in the Georgia and Florida area since AIM. I am a bonified Scott Henderson fanatic---I own everything he's recorded and the instructional videos are phenomenal. Scott Henderson today is THE leading force in music and especially guitar---Thank you Scott for what you have given to music!!!

Welcome to the board, Frank. I'm quite a fan of Shane Theriot. I love his last disc, Grease Factor. Great guitar work but he doesn't skimp on the tunes and he has fantastic people backing him up such as Russell Battiste, Victor Wooten etc. etc. So, what's your favourite Scott album?

Cheers

Salty

Don't think I can single out one CD: I love Scott in all the forms, whether Tribal Tech, Vital Tech Tones, Solo, etc., although I really have a special liking for the Tribal Tech albums/CD's throughout the 90's. I was really into people like Jeff Beck when I attended AIM in 1992. Shane himself suggested I check out Scott Henderson---and I picked up the 1992 LP title plainly: Tribal Tech (w/Elvis at the Hop, etc.). I became a fanatic instantly. I love Face First, Reality Check, Illicit, Rocket Science and especially the first Vital Tech Tones release as well as Scott's solo 'blues' releases. I am hoping for a live DVD of Scott and/or Tribal Tech to come out in the future.
